The 2012 Scholarship program is now available to apply. Please see the attached file for the application. Thye deadline for applications is June 5th, 2012. Pembina Valley will be handing out 4 - $500 scholarships.
The Pembina Valley Female Midgets AAA won the Gold Medal at the Esso Cup 2012 in Charlettetown, PEI. They downed the Thunder Bay Queens 4 - 2 Sunday afternoon. Congratulations to the girls and the coach staff on capturing the GOLD MEDAL. Pembina Valley is proud of the accomplishments the Female Midgets have done this year.
The PV Bantam AAA team were off to Spruce Grove, AB this past weekend for the Western Bantam Championships. With a very stong showing as they captured the Bronze Medal by beating Saskatchewan 8- 3. Congratulations to the players, coaching staff and the managers on completing a very successful year.
Another successful weekend for the PV Female AAA Midget team as they captured the Western Esso Cup in Wilcox, Sask. The beat Notre Dame 2 games to none in the best of three series. they won the first game 2-1 and the second game 3-2 in double overtime. Congratulations player and coaching staff for a job well done. The girls will now be going to the Nationals part of the Esso Cup in Charlettetown, PEI next week Good Luck and GO HAWKS GO.
PEMBINA VALLEY MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION AGM IS ON APRIL 18TH AT THE MIAMI HALL. START TIME IS 7:30 PM. DISCUSSIONS ON THE YEAR IN REVIEW AND WORKING TOWARDS THE NEXT YEAR'S HOCKEY WILL BE A COUPLE OF THE TOPICS ON THE AGENDA. ALL ASSOCIATIONS WILL HAVE REPRESENTATION THERE.
Congratulations to the Pembina Valley Male Bantam AAA in capturing the both the Rural AAA Bantam Championship and Provincial Bantam AAA Championship in the last two weekends. They will heading off to to the Westerns in Spruce Grove AB April 6-8th to play against the representatives of BC, AB and SK. Good Luck in your next adventure. To the coaches Mike Bellisle, Ryan Friesen, Gord Keith and Tim Morrison good luck as you prepare the players for the next challenge. …
